CLASSES RESUME MAY 2024 During this 90-minute class, you will be guided through a slow-flow yoga sequence on the water, finishing with a guided meditation during savasana. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. You'll hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each shape instead of moving to each breath. You'll connect your awareness through conscious breathing and mindful movement, which builds more confidence, strength, and patience on and off the water. What to bring: Water Snacks Sunnies Sunblock Hat Long-sleeved tee or rash guard for sun protection Waterproof bag (optional) *Paddle Board & Life Jacket (if you do not have your own, rentals are available at the Reservoir) These sessions are weather permitting and will be held at the lower lot, with marked signage and plenty of parking. The class is about 90 minutes long and will include a brief safety lesson and a paddle board usage review. There will be plenty of time for photos after class. Pre-registration is required and all classes are limited to 7 students for safety. Although some previous experience with yoga is helpful, no experience with yoga or paddle boarding is required. This class includes basic paddle boarding and safety instruction. You must be able to swim. *Please Note: This fee is for the class only; entrance fees to the reservoir and rental fees are the student's responsibility.
