North Nodes + Mercury Rx Rituals.

Ahhh Mercury Rx is finally OVER! However we are still in the shadow period for a little bit longer. The Mercury Shadow period is basically Mercury retracing it's steps over the same piece of sky that it just went retrograde over. So we're not totally out of the woods yet, but we can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I generally take Mercury Rx OFF social media to really go inward. Which may or may not be such a good thing with my North Node of Future Destiny in Gemini (which is like the Hermit in tarot) I LOVE the solitude of retreating into my own little mystical bubble and just focusing on me, on my transformation - hello Mars in Scorpio, and honestly my well being mentally and physically.

Mercury Rx gives me that S P A C E to just BE ME! A clear message from my ancestors and spirit guides because I can definitely be one of those people who tries to be everything for everyone. BLEH lol and tiring!

Over this last few weeks, I've really dove into North Nodes, which unlike the other aspects of your birth chart, your north node is not a celestial body. Your north and south nodes are the points where the moon's orbit and the plane of the ecliptic converge during the time you were born. Together, they tell the story of your soul's journey through every life you've lived so far. And let me tell you the messages were so clear! Hard to hear, but indeed clear, because your North Node attributes are kind of the direction you're supposed to move toward to overcome the karmic lessons of THIS lifetime.

My North Node is in Gemini. And as I mentioned before, it's kind of like the Hermit card in the Tarot. In a past life, I was one of those sages who secluded themselves atop a mountain away from society to find ultimate TRUTH. And that's why solitude is so comfortable to me. I even had a friend once ask me HOW I CAN JUST BE ALONE ALL THE TIME. Honestly, it's so damn peaceful to just be connected to the divine.

BUT That's not necessarily my path in THIS lifetime. I am supposed to connect with my community to really listen to communicate. To offer divine guidance to those who seek my wisdom. To share my experiences, but also to be curious about others experiences too. To ask questions and not assume I know or have all the answers. This might seem really simple for some of you, but for me (and one of my "off-putting" traits can be self-righteousness) it's not always easy. As an intuitive I can absolutely FEEL what you're feeling, but actively engaging in communication helps me to more deeply understand your situation. (Gemini North Node people can be so active in their minds that they tend not to listen as intently as they should and can often miss out on key details/information)

I say all this to say, that understanding your own astrology can be incredibly helpful in figuring out not only your life path's direction, but also to understanding others around you. Taking breaks to delve into the depths of oneself can be extremely transforming and that's probably my favorite part - Transformation, molting the old skin to reveal the truest parts of yourself.

How has this Mercury Retrograde been for you? What questions do you have about North Node astrology? Are you a solitude worker, or do you prefer community?
