Lunar Eclipses are a type of Full Moon, and they carry much of the same meaning as a Full Moon, but with added emotional potency. With the Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Gemini, it temporarily stills and quiets the butterfly-like capriciousness of Gemini energy. Instead of flitting from one thing to another, we are forced to focus on whatever the moment brings us. Instead of chatting, playing and laughing, we must instead take life seriously for a moment. Where the Moon in Gemini has a short attention span, and is interested only in the moment, the Sun in Sagittarius urges us to look at the bigger picture. Whatever this eclipse brings you, try not to react, or overreact impulsively. Instead mull over what has led you to this, because in discovering that, you will find valuable answers as to where to go next. Remember, Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, influences our communication and how we think. Now is the time to keep your head, heart and ears open for fresh and different perspectives finding their way to you.

We will seek to harness the power of an especially potent eclipse—the Full Moon/lunar eclipse in the Mercury-ruled sign of Gemini—to release thought patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us. Mercury, a planet symbolically associated with thinking and communication, which is the planetary “ruler” of the zodiacal sign of Gemini, will begin traveling forward in the deeply transformational sign of Scorpio, after ending a “retrograde” period (that can be disruptive to communication and clear thinking).

This Remote Crystal Reiki session will begin at 6 PM Mountain time and last approximately one hour. There will be a crystal grid set up to continue igniting the healing power of reiki being sent to you throughout the entire week (November 30th - December 7th)

HOW TO RECEIVE REMOTE REIKI:

To receive the healing energy of Reiki during this remote session. Simply begin to tune inward about 5 - 10 minutes before the session. You can sit in a comfy, quiet, meditative corner surrounded by your softest blankets and pillows. Maybe light an incense for yourself and indulge in this month's moon milk recipe (found in the musings section) to elevate the energy, intention and atmosphere. You can choose to sit in a meditative position, or lay down. Truly, do what's best for your body at this time, this session lasts one hour, so you'll want to be comfortable. Close your eyes and allow yourself to relax. Breathe and allow yourself to be with anything that comes up for you.

Note: While many who receive Remote Reiki sit comfortably still or lie down for sessions, this is not necessary to receive the healing energy of Reiki. No electronics needed.
