A Spooktacular Astro Adventure

Join us for an unforgettable journey into the cosmos! This event is on Fri Oct 13th, 2023, from 3 pm through Sunday, October 15th at 10 am at the Hand Hotel Bed and Breakfast & Emporium in Fairplay, CO.

Night One:

Are you craving more adventure in your life? Are you being called to explore your spiritual side? Maybe it’s time to step away from the hustle and bustle of city life and build some community with like-minded curious souls.

Join us Friday, October 13th through the 15th for a thrilling, spooktacular adventure weekend.

We’ll start our experience off with a brief check-in to the infamous and haunted Hand Hotel in Fairplay, Colorado, and with a meet and greet to get to know your community and hostesses. After getting settled, you’ll start your evening with a relaxing and rejuvenating Hatha yoga session with Heather to unwind from your drive, get grounded, and set intentions. Journals will be included so you can notate your thoughts and experiences throughout the event.

Dinner will be included at the hotel Friday evening. We’ll gather in the dining area for a hot, delicious meal to get to know each other more, and swap ghost stories and other spiritual experiences before embarking on our adventurous night ahead.

After dinner, we’ll split into two groups. One group will conduct a paranormal investigation of the Hand Hotel with MacKenzie and the other will venture out with Maggie for a mindful, astrophotography lesson and star gazing. To conclude your evening, you’ll wind down and prepare for a restful night’s sleep with Yoga Nidra with Heather.

Day/Night Two:

Wake up and enjoy a hot breakfast at the hotel and chat with other guests about your chilling tales from the night prior.

Then, join Heather for a refreshing morning meditation and yoga with crystal Reiki savasana to clear your mind, body, and spirit in preparation for the day’s activities.

Lunch will be from 12 to 1 pm on your own. From 1 to 4 pm, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Fairplay and the neighboring South Park Museum, take a hike, or explore add-ons with Heather, Maggie, or MacKenzie.

We’ll reconvene for a costume party and dinner at 4 pm at the hotel, where we’ll all vote for the best costume for a prize.

From 6 to 11 pm, we’ll break out into two groups and swap experiences. One group will conduct a paranormal investigation of the Hand Hotel, and the other will venture out with Maggie for astrophotography and stargazing.

We’ll conclude the evening with a relaxing Yoga Nidra to ease into a restful night’s sleep.

Day Three:

A hot breakfast will be provided from 7 to 9 am by the hotel followed by meditation and yoga with Heather. We'll then have a brief reflection and closing ceremony to share your experiences and feedback from 9 to 10 am.

Check-out of the Hand Hotel is 10 am.

This may be the most haunted hotel in all of Colorado, with each room said to have its very own ghostly presence.
